Coachella 2013 is now behind us, but one of the great things about this festival is their dedication to video coverage of so many of their shows. Dedicated music fans who were unable to attend Coachella were still able to stream many of the shows live over the festival weekends, and even after the fact, some of the more magical moments from the festival are still available on the festival YouTube channel. We thought it would be good to share a few of our favorites from among these performances.
The Lumineers, with their raw, unpolished folk sound, have skyrocketed to fame over the past year—a remarkable feat for a band not signed to a major label. A full year after the release of their eponymous debut album, they are still sitting comfortably within the Top 25 of the Billboard 200 album sales charts, with two of their singles still in the Top 20 on the Rock charts. Very few people in the US have not yet heard their hit single “Ho-Hey,” so it was naturally a great moment to watch The Lumineers perform it on a sunny day at Coachella in front of a crowd of thousands. Take a look, and enjoy!
