Does Sharknado 2: The Second One Look Worse? Is That A Good Thing?

Remember Sharknado? Remember? No?

Ok, we’ll catch you up. Sharknado was a minor blip on the pop culture radar around comic con last year. The outlandish title coupled with stunt casting and a heaping portion of internet chatter propelled the shark-sploitation film to higher heights than Asylum could  have ever hoped for.

Now, only one year later, Asylum is about to release an aptly titled sequel. Sharknado 2: The Second One.

The new film looks to be as terrible and unabashedly campy as the initial installment. The only question remaining is, ‘will people respond the same way?’

The official synopsis is:

They’re sharks, they’re scary. No one wants to get eaten. But I’ve been eaten! And I’m here to tell you it takes a lot more than that to take a good man down — a lot more than that to bring a New Yorker down!
