Edgar Wright co-writer and director of the Cornetto Trillogy, comprised of Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End, will be signing at Amoeba in Hollywood.
Edgar will be signing copies of his films at the venue. Unfortunately, he won’t be signing anything else apparently.
Check out the fine print:
Celebrating the release of The World’s End and The Cornetto Trilogy (on Blu-Ray and DVD), Edgar Wright will sign copies at Amoeba Hollywood on release date. Fans must purchase The World’s End and/or The Cornetto Trilogy at Amoeba Hollywood to attend the signing.
First 200 fans will be accommodated.
Available to purchase on 11/19 in-store.
No online or phone orders for this special event.
Limit 2 per person.
No personal cameras/photos at signing table. Amoeba photographer will be at the event to get fan pics with Edgar and will make them available on 11/20 on Amoeba.com.
I understand part of these restrictions, but it’s also kind of lame. I get that they don’t wan the place to be swarmed but to say that you can’t get something signed unless you buy the new blu-ray is really lame.
