So, it’s kind of like New Year’s Rockin’ Eve…only it’s just Lady Gaga.
The pop singer is set to release her new album ARTPOP on iTunes at midnight, November 11. According to Billboard, one-half hour prior to the release, at 11:30 p.m. EST, the pop singer will host a special “artRave”—a release party at an undisclosed location in New York—to be live-streamed over Vevo.com.
The event will feature Lady Gaga performing songs from the album, as well as the official unveiling of the sculpture that serves as the official artwork for ARTPOP, created by sculptor Jeff Koons. Gaga will also unveil additional works of art she created in collaboration with Inez & Vinoodh, Marina Abramovic and Robert Wilson.
If you don’t want to stay up that late to watch the ringing in of the new year—I mean, ARTPOP—don’t worry. The release show will be rebroadcast on Vevo outlets for two days following the show. Additionally, an accompanying Ryan Secrest-hosted show, “Album Release party with Lady Gaga,” will be broadcast over Clear Channel media on November 11 at 9:00 p.m. EST, and the CW will show the release party on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
