Mad Max: Fury Road Appears To Be Worth The Wait

Reboots, rehashes, relaunches, and remakes are a dime a dozen these days. They’re everywhere. Every major studio is attempting to grab another piece of whatever franchise you loved as a younger human. Sometimes these remakes are good, sometimes they’re bad, and sometimes they’re VERY BAD.

In the case of Mad Max there have been rumors and failed stop and start attempts at breathing new life into the franchise for years and years. Many assumed, after 20 years passed, that the franchise was permanently dead because Mel Gibson had aged himself out of the role. Well, that’s not the case.

Max is back and the newest installment in the franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road, appears to be the biggest, baddest, gnarliest, and most intense Max movie yet. The tone looks perfect, the actors look spot on, the effects look awe inspiring, and the film overall just looks wonderful.

But enough listening to me blab on and on, check out the trailer below.
