MIMO - When Music is Your Fix

What’s Coming Out Next, El? – Upcoming Rap/Hip-Hop Releases (January Edition)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We’re all alive and not living in some Mad Max-ish post-apocalyptic world. Thank God the world didn’t come to a horrifying end. I guess this means we can all live it up like Lil Wayne (that means no worries).

Anyway, the new year also means we’re going to get treated to plenty of new music. Fresh albums and mixtapes are sure to drop over the next few months, but I’m sure some of you might not know what’s coming next. Allow me to remedy that.

This monthly music release list is for the rap/hip-hop heads who need to know what’s coming out and who it’s coming from. Some of these entries come with trailers, since many of today’s rappers like to announce the arrival of their projects in epic fashion. Others just come with a planned release date. Either way, take note of the upcoming works of these dope artists—and remember that release dates are always subject to change.
