Bruce Timm Returns to Batman in “Strange Days”

For the 75th anniversary of Batman, DC Entertainment is attempting to pull out all the stops. They’re producing a few short films highlighting key times in Batman’s history. The first in this line of short films explores the 1940’s version of the Dark Knight.

Notably, one of the key figures behind this short film is none other than Bruce Timm, the writer, producer, and director who defined the Dark Knight with the 1990’s television show.

The film is a throwback to the cinematic style and scoring of the 1940’s Universal pictures. Check it out and see for yourself!
