Scarecrow Video: The World’s Largest Video Store

With the fall of Blockbuster and the rise of Netflix the American video rental store or retailer is all but gone. A virtually nonexistent entity, video stores used to be as plentiful as grocery stores. Currently the economic landscape has shifted so dramatically that video stores and rental houses are nearly extinct.

The largest remaining video store is in Seattle Washington. Scarecrow Video is the last and final standing monument to a nearly extinct form of consumerism.
