There’s A New Jim Gordon In Town

We all know that Fox is prepping a new DC Comics based television show which will chronicle the early years of Commissioner Gordon and the Batman Rouge’s Gallery. We’ve been hearing rumors for a good while now of who will step into the trench coat and watch over Gotham while Batman grows up.

And now we have a definitive answer: Ben McKenzie.

That’s right the star of the cop drama Southland and the teen soap opera The OC is taking on Jim Gordon.

But this isn’t the first time he’s played someone in the Batman Universe. Not too long ago he voiced the Dark Knight himself in the DC Animated adaptation of Batman: Year One.

By all appearances Fox’s new comic book TV show looks like it’s off to a good start.
